It is the month of February after all and love has inspired great works of art in a great many mediums. Love runs the gamut from exaltation to devastation. In this show a group of contemporary fiber artist will explore the many facets of love.

We are most proud to present this wonderful show opening September 3rd at REDUX. Show runs through September 29th, 2010. This month we celebrate NW Embroidery Artists with a very special Group Show, curated by Pamela Davis, of Mucho Design in Seattle.

Opening Reception is First Friday, April 2nd at our brick and mortar Gallery on East Burnside st, but here is a little preview of the show for those who can’t make it in person.

The domestic arts have a long history of resourcefulness often salvaging and reclaiming materials. The 24 artists showcased here will take needlecraft back to those roots by incorporating repurposed materials while adding a contemporary spin to the art.
